Ania’s Writing Process
Personally I think that the writing process is very difficult. First of all, I think about the composition’s topic. I try to collect all the possible and suitable thoughts and make them in order. I often find this stage very difficult because it depends on the topic very much. Then I start writing. As for me, it is very enjoyable to express my own thoughts in the ways which I like. I try to choose the most suitable variant for each sentence. At last I check my composition. The last stage is often done twice because I sometimes tend to be a very inattentive person and make a lot of silly mistakes.

Thinking about the topic is brainstorming; ordering your ideas is part of drafting. These are more precise terms to describe the stages of the writing process (WP).
Indeed part of the success in writing smth depends on how much/little the topic interests you. Can you give a specific example to illustrate this point? Use one of your past writing assignments to illustrate some difficulties you had when writing on a topic you didn't quite like and another one to illustrate the ease of composing when the topic excited you.
What is the criteria for "choosing the most suitable variant for each sentence"?
Your writing process reminds my own one. You didn't overload your description with specific terms. So it's clear to everyone, even if person doesn't know much of the topic. I agree that you should have given some specific illustrations of your point of view, as Natalia Yurievna said. However, i'm sure you'll improve your writing soon because you try your best:):):)
