A camp could be a good training for them. Children will learn how to cooperate with each other. Specialists will work with them and teach things which all people should know. And of cource, a camp is a safe and ecologically clean place.

Teenagers: try to be more specific and add some examples that will persuade teenagers it's worth going to this camp! Make your letter less formal, for example, instead of saying 'A summer camp is a good chance to meet new people with same interests as yours." address your readers directly. You can also make it more applealing by asking a rhetorical question.
"peers" is a much better choice than "coevals" , which is very fml and old-fashioned.
Parents: Again, you need to be more specific and instead of just saying that children will do smth/learn smth/etc. give specific examples of what they will learn!
Remember the difference b/w "learn" and "know": the former is used to describe the process; the latter itsresult.
