and what do you think
Guys, how do you personally feel about of graffiti? The main thing that matters to me is special graffiti exhibition! I really believe that we appreciate this art because of it has an element of surprise and embodies freedom! And when the graffiti are put in a gallery we lose all these features of pure graffiti.

I've seen some kind of exibition connected with graffity. some famous Novosibirsk grafter had a competition in painting! they 'attacked' an ordinary building and made a masterpiece of it! the most exiting thing was that they did it at the moment. it was very interesting to see a process!
i meen gallaries, when you come to a special place in order to watch many different graffiti. not streets but museums may be.
I really like graffiti. While you are writing a graffiti, you express yourself and try to find your own style. Of course, these people have a great talant.
Doc, do you mean some official exhibitions?
I know that there're many competitions between graffiters. And after it, the place itself is smth like an "exhibition" with a lot of works:)
I think nobody will come! the people who enjoy wathcing graffity usually don't do to galleries...) and moreover it will kill the very purpouse of graffity - replacing ugly walls by beautiful paintings!
Galleries will make graffiti very formal. So it will lose its free style. Many graffiters will lose their interest even to write it:(
yes, i ment "official exhibitions" as you called it)i was serfing the Net in order to find some photos of graffiti and faced many sites devoted to such exhibitions. And I was so sad abot it... I gess, the things which are exhibited are graffiti style paintimg, not graffiti for sure(
